Position:
Supervisor, Embedded Software & Controls (SESC)

Description:
The SESC will, under the direction of the Manager of R&D, will lead the design and development of the controls and software embedded in Singer's products.

Responsibilities:
1.Supervise and direct the work engineers, which will include electrical, software and controls engineers.
2.Serve as project manager for the controls and software components of the products being designed.
3.Participate in the feature selection and design of future products.

Experience:
1.Minimum 7 years experience in software engineering, embedded software, and mixed-signal (digital and analog) controls of high-volume consumer/light-industrial products.
2.Bachelors Degree for higher in a related field. (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
3.Minimum 3 years experience supervising/managing other engineers.
4.Proven ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
5.Prior experience with re-using code across multiple product lines.
6.Must have led the design of the embedded software and controls for at least two different kinds of products.

Technologies:
1.C/C++ and Assembly Language of at least one MCU family (required).
2.Full life-cycle software management, including source control and testing (required).
3.Real-time, embedded programming (required).
4.Object-Oriented analysis and Design (required).
5.User Interface Design (desired).
6.FPGAs and ASIC design (desired).

Skills:
1.Proven ability to motivate and lead engineering staff.
2.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3.Fluency in English reading, speaking, writing and listening.
4.Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
5.Experience working in Asian cultures.

Budget: 10000~12000RMB/month (13months)
